For Halloween 2003, Darian and I took Kaitlin to Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo. For those of you who don't know what Zoo Boo is, it's pretty cool. Basically, they just open up the walkways of the zoo and set up a bunch of pumpkin displays along the sides for a few weeks before Halloween. You'll see what I mean when you check out the picture galleries. There are "candy stations" along the way where teenagers from the area are dressed up and pass out candy to all the little kids in their costumes. There is also a big tent with picnic tables and a stage where they put on a pretty cool show for the kids. And of course there is a donut and warm apple cider stand at the entrance/exit.

Kaitlin was dressed up as a "scary dragon." Actually it's a unicorn costume but she thinks it's a "scary dragon" costume. Since Darian brought home like 4 different costumes before finding one that Kaitlin would wear, we certainly weren't going to argue. So "scary dragon" it is!!

On the actual day of Halloween, Darian and I took her trick-or-treating around the neighborhood and then over to my grandma and papa's house. She was pretty tired that day and just wanted to sit down in the middle of the driveway of every house we stopped at. So it was a pretty short evening.

Anyway, on to the pictures...
